Teak is a naturally 'oily' wood and is therefore extremely suitable for outdoors.
DO NOT use a hard brush or high-pressure spray to clean teak; use soft soap and a soft brush or sponge. There are also impregnating agents available on the market, however, these leave stains. For this reason, leave the wood natural and clean it with ordinary water, preferably salt water.
'Older' Winners often have cockpit benches that have been made from multiplex with a teak veneer. In the course of time, these benches can show flaws. Nowadays, we only use solid teak. Solid-teak cockpit bench panels can be ordered from us via the shop on this website.
